Parameters
5.10.11.3 Profibus DP gateway
The Profibus DP gateway group contains the parameters for the Profibus settings.
5.10.11.3.1 Using device ID as a Profibus address
If the Using device ID as a Profibus address parameter is activated, the device ID is used as
a Profibus address.
5.10.11.3.2 Device ID
The device ID is displayed under the Device ID parameter. If the device ID is activated for
use as a fieldbus address, a new device ID can be assigned.
5.10.11.3.3 Operating mode
A data transmission mode is selected via the Operating mode parameter.
• M
ODE1: CMF STANDARD FORMAT / BYTE HANDSHAKE / DIGITAL IO: In this transmission mode,
acknowledging the telegrams ensures that no telegrams are lost. This mode is recommen-
ded for high object frequencies and long telegrams.
• M
ODE2: CMF STANDARD FORMAT / NO BYTE HANDSHAKE / DIGITAL IO: No telegrams are acknow-
ledged in this transmission mode. It is possible to lose telegrams if the PLC cycle time is too
slow. The mode should only be used for low object frequencies and short telegrams.
• M
ODE 3: BMV-COMPATIBLE/NO DIGITAL IO: The mode is compatible with BMV/H10-0111. The
mode should only be selected if it is necessary to replace a BMV/H.
Individual parameter values are not supported by all device types.
5.10.11.4 DeviceNet gateway
The DeviceNet gateway group contains the parameters for DeviceNet settings.
5.10.11.4.1 Using device ID as a DeviceNet address
If this parameter is activated, the device ID is used as a DeviceNet address.
5.10.11.4.2 Device ID
The device ID is displayed under the Device ID parameter. If the device ID is activated for
use as a fieldbus address, a new device ID can be assigned.
5.10.11.4.3 Operating mode
A data transmission mode is selected via the Operating mode parameter.
